Beachcombing

what a blissful day I had yesterday...I wanted to fill my card spinner up at Belstead House which is on the way to Felixtowe and so Tony and set off with Hope, quickly filled the spinner with 68 more cards and ended up beachcombing at Felixtowe. It was BRILLIANT! one part of the beach was especially good...in the summer, everyone ele seems to have there before me but yesterday, we had to leave half the combings behind! in fact, my bag got so heavy with driftwood we had to trek back to the car.

On the way back, we watched some guys who are members of 'Escape Reality' leaping over walls and summersaulting in mid-air. Unbelievable talent so Tony managed to get a few good shots of them. I haven't uploaded the pics yet but I'll post them when I do. They were happy for us to take pics.

Today I did a craft fair at Waterbeach for the Cats Protection League and did incredibly well much to Tony's surprise. I was selling my cards in big numbers...three people bought 6 and one person bought 9! WOW!
I also sold one of my long sleeved Tshirts and one little bag and quite a fewlittle paper mazes and origami books. GREAT. This means I need to make more. I so enjoyed sitting there today sewing beads and sequins onto the part made bags and have decided that I'm going to make little kits for people to sew them on themselves...they'd make great gifts.

Must go and unpack now....its getting late!

Sounds like you had a great day. I love the beach finds. The glass is beautiful. What do you do with all of it?

I have had fun playing around with ideas. I shall post on here once I have made a little model using the wood. No idea what I shall do with the glass....just needed to pick it up!

Hiya Moira - It was great to meet you yesterday - it has really given me the much needed inspiration to get on with my blog - which I have first thing this morning - so thank you. I love your blog and notice we have similar tastes in blogs as well as other things. Have a great day. Marie
