My thumb is on the mend and I have not fractured the scaphoid bone thankfully but I was given a thumb splint at the hospital today as the joint is sprained. Good. I have been splinting my thumb with elastoplast strapping and it no longer sticks like it used to. In fact it is rubbish.
I have spent the evening bonding the component parts for fairies onto paper fabric and will have a mass machining session soon and take pictures of them. I am making them for no reason other than it is fun to make little bits of art. I intend to add buttons, beads, sequins, hook and eyes and all sorts of bits and pieces to them eventually. It is always good to have some hand work on the go.
