Bookcovers, Hope's stories, Big Shot, Sad Dog and Creative Breakfast!

Shimelle's 'True Stories' promt a few days ago was to use different forms of journalling so today...I am reporting from No 5...Here goes!

                                  Colourful  Covered Notebooks
Life at No 5 has been as hectic as ever but full of colour, fun and creativity as you can see. Here are three book covers waiting for beads and sequins before being glued in place on the books bought at the local charity shop for just 25pence each!
Her Pie Wanted to be the Biggest Pie in the World!.....

Here is another painting for Hope's story book painted by Moira last week 'When her blackberry pie saw her it hid in a castle full of pies. It started eating all the pies because it wanted to be the biggest pie in the world.....' (Hope wrote the story when she was about 5 and now Granny Moira is trying to illustraste all Hope's stories to make into a book for her)
This was on Moira's workdesk last week but time constraints have prevented her from sharing till now....
                                             And the Pie Blew Up!....

Today, at the Art Group at Dry Drayton this was on Moira's workdesk....

'It became bigger than the planet and everyone was out of the world and in space and the pie blew up and it was all over space, and in the village and in the whole country so they all lived in space forever, and ever, and ever, and ever, and ever!'
Unfinished. It needs the world in one corner and a few movement marks and final details.

                                               Getting Stacking....

Moira was inspired by Marie at 'Its Crafting Tme ' on Thursday as she had painstakingly labelled all of her inks as they all have plain black sides. Now they can happily be stacked up but still easy to identify! A very satisfying project to do....
                                               BIG  New Toy!

When she was away at Belstead last week she was shopping at The Range and this little baby was sitting on the shelf waiting to be bought for just £49.95. It was in her trolley in a flash.....They didn't sell any of the dies needed but her wonderful friend Barbabra has lent her plenty to play with before the Scrapbooking Weekend at Belstead at the end of the month. Much experimentation has been going on....to be shared AFTER the weekend course!
Sad Dog....More news from Number 5...

Rosie's claws were making that infuriating tapping sound they make when you KNOW they need clipping. This is not her favourite thing in life...indeed she would happily have Moira's hand off rather than agree to this procedure, which means getting out the muzzle! Now, as soon as the muzzle is on she knows what is coming....either grooming (also on her HATE list) or claw clipping so she tries to hide......
That is one very SAD dog!
Big H......Tuesday Morning Breakfast Club

Claire works on Tuesdays so Hope and Grace come over....any time after 7.15am.... fully dressed in school uniform all set for a creative start before school. Last week they requested bacon butties and Hope decorated hers with a saucy 'H'! Afterbreakfast they all had a go at folding napkins using an ancient book Hope found lying around.

Question. How many other children were folding ships in full sail from linen napkins at 7.45am I wonder.
That is all from No 5 for today. In fact probably for many days.
Take care all

It's bad enough that I am running nearly a week late, then I have been plagued with that pesky 503 error all night. Just wanted to drop in and let you know I was here this week. Had a good laugh at the breakfast shot.
