It is Saturday and Tony has gone off to the Nationals with Gareth and Alan leaving me free to play ALL DAY. But you know what? I wasn't feeling very kind to me this morning....not at all and I really couldn't get into the spirit so I did what I finds works well at those times.....simply slap paint on a few surfaces randomly and it works every time! I was given a heap of lilac hand made paper yesterday and so I stamped it with white emulsion using a brush, roller and stamps. GOOD. This will come in useful sometime...not sure when but sometime
I am busy thinking about Christmas designs for my cards and so the next boring job was to stamp some pudding fabric and here it is. I used bubble wrap and a mix of brown and black paint. It will be fine and looks quite curranty! While I was at it a plastered some brown paint onto oiled brown paper....that will take care of my Rudolph when I get round to him
Then I decided it was time to stop feeling sorry for myself and I started work on this picture....using a background from a few weeks ago. OOOOH I do love it when I can just select a background 'I made earlier'
It is pitifully simple and predictable but just what I needed to do.
I gave her a crown of barbed wire and then decided not to be so cruel to myself so I added silver leaf to soften it and the edges of her wings and tiny silver necklace.
Good. I feel better now.
