I have had a great day teaching one lovely lady today how to free machine quilt and between teaching her and chatting I made this for 'Breakfast Club' tomorrow. It is a tin full of first line story promts for Hope and Grace
Next I free embroidered some leaves on old paper....
and gave them a wash of green paint.....
Voila! Job done. Now I'm flying off out to a firwork night do so no time yet again to vist AEMD. Bother!

These are lovely, Moira. I love the leaves! Looking forward to some play tomorrow :)
I never would have thought of that. Free motion embroidery is something I've always wanted to try and combining it with paper crafts is just too perfect. *files away the idea* Thanks!
What a lovely idea..your breakfast club puts my morning rituals to shame!(throwing down cereal and wrestling with a 4 year old to put on her clothes!)
It's lovely to see what you've been upto lately and I love the quilt you made and the headline newspaper story to go with it..so funny :)x
Moira thankyou for your visit to my blog and your comments.
I found your blog so simple and lovely, enjoyed visiting your website.

Reminds me of my junior school...we had a first line to complete that went, "Down through the water, down , down, down until....." I loved that first line!
