Viva Espana y sangria!

I decided not to mope any more about not going away this weekend and instead to play the 'Inspire Me Thursday' game of 'Spain'. I always think of drinking Sangria when I think of Spain so here is my take on it. This piece is free machine embroidered. I appliqued the organza over orange cotton cutouts and succeeded in ironing the organza bodaweb side UP but happily was using a wonderful silicone sheet which protected the iron. PHEW!

The flowers were cut using my new sissiz die....the only problem now is I don't own my own bigshot yet...it will have to go on my wishlist for Christmas.

I have absolutely NO IDEA why the computer is using underlined blue text by the way and cannot change it! Grrrr......isn't it frustrating when you are not in control and more?

Now I must go and get organised my my go it alone patchwork weekend next week at Belstead. Yabadabadoooooo!!!!!
